MISSION STATEMENT

In 2013, I was sitting around my cottage table looking out at the water with my family and friends and asked myself a question: Is there a better way to get people fired up about their health?

After all, there are hundreds of videos, podcasts, articles and seminars you can be exposed to that inspire you to do better. To become an even better version of  yourself.

I then asked myself what limits progress and forces someone to seek out information about their health – pain.

Pain tells us we have a problem, it doesn’t tell you where it is. All injuries affect movement and pain is a request by your body for change.

I believe that more is not better. Better is better.

I believe in helping others by  helping themselves, which means helping you get out of your own way.

 

I believe in proactive care, not reacting to an injury that my pride ignored.

 

I believe in personal responsibility.

And I believe that it takes a habit to make a pattern, and a habit to break a pattern.

Thus, Prehab Before Rehab was conceived.

It is a trusted online resource, an educational tool kit if you will, that scours the internet – so that you don’t have to – in order to provide YOU with the information in the form of blogs, podcasts, videos, journal articles and periodicals.

We will strive to provide you with current, research-supported information in the fields of

injury prevention, strength & conditioning, improved performance, pre-screening tools and nutrition

This online resource is intended for athletes and coaches; allied health care professionals including chiropractors, physical therapists and orthopedics; strength coaches to personal trainers; nutritionists and anyone else who needs a kick in the rear.
