Episode 49: in Episode 47, the anterior compartment of the shin was covered. The ‘shin splint’ pain region, tibialis anterior can be remedied through the use of a foam roller. Here, the back of the calf, the posterior compartment is involved, chiefly the tibialis posterior. It can become very painful with jumping activities, or hill workouts.
