WOD Doc: Diaphragm Mobilization to Maximize Deeper Squats
Episode 109: Here, Dr. Tim and Dr. Perry Nickelston discuss an often overlooked structure: the diaphragm. In this installment, Dr. Perry takes us through how a weak diaphragm can cause adductor collapse, or weakness. This is important, especially if you squat heavy and find your knees buckling in, despite being as strong as an ox. So, before you feel like you need to train harder, or mobilize those legs, work the diaphragm first and watch as you crush heavy weight.
