Buyer’s Guide: 10 Best CrossFit Shoes
Here, Jeff Rizzo lists his opinion of the 10 most commonly used shoes for metabolic conditioning (met con) workouts, training and CrossFit Workouts. (His video is below)
10. Adidas Samba – lowest price, but have the least to offer
9. Reebok Nano 1.0 – high price, low heel drop and wide toe box
8. Merrell Barefoot Trail Glove II – high price, zero-drop heel, light weight, snug fit, good grip
7. Inov-8 Bare XF-210 – very high price, barefoot shoe with zero-drop, flexible, minimalist shoe, poor toe box structure
6. Inov-8 F-Lite 240 – very high price, 6mm heel drop, good for running, so-so toebox
5. Inov-8 F-lite 195 – high price (cheaper than #6, #7) 3mm heel drop – better for lifting, not very durable
4. Reebok Nano 2.0 – high price, good for lateral movement and rope climbing
3. Reebok Nano 3.0 – high price, more durable than #4, good for rope climbing, not great for long distance
2. 5.11 RECON trainer – high price, have 8mm heel drop, light weight, great tread, better for running
1. Reebok Nano 4.0 – very high price, more resistance for rope climbs, slightly better than 3.0
